I have an HDlink Pro, connected to a JVC DTV20L1u monitor through HDSDI (from a Decklink Extreme HD 2 card)

When I display DVCPRO-HD fooatge (1080 anamorphic) it appears on my monitor compressed horizontally. Since the monitor is connected with DVI, the option to change the aspect is greyed out.

    I’m sure it’s something i’m missing.

    The footage is 1080i – 23.98 (1280×1080)
    Any ideas?

Without knowing anything about this monitor, I believe that the monitor does exactly what it is supposed to be doing, that is displaying the proper raster size of the DVCPRO-HD codec.

From where are u displaying the signal? From the editor? Or a just some player? (i.e Windows media player for MXF files, when the codec is installed) Because the latter will display it that way..
The NLE editor should correct the image and display it properly on the monitor if you’re outputting from the BM card, though…
