  Remote control problem

  I have a Multibridge Pro 2 Utility connected to a Mac Pro OS X 10.5.5. I’m running FCP 6. The deck is a Panasonic DVCPRO HD connected through a RS 422 remote cable. I’m getting video and audio in Log and Capture but I’m not getting remote control. I’ve set the video device capture settings to Panasonic 422. The only thing Multibridge techs said could be the issue might be the 9-pin adaptor I’m using to connect my cable to the Multibridge. I have two units and have the same issue so they don’t think it’s the Multibridge. Any suggestions?
