    Hi,
I have been trying to setup a vo mic for an editor using blackmagic in a FCP OS 10.4…
I have a desk with mic taking the op of the desk to the BM deck in left…
I cannot get a signal in and I have played around with the settings Im no expert but I can figure these things out usually mmm..
I saw somewhere that the audio signal must have a video reference along with it to work…
Is this correct? This could be my solution..
I have to go in here tmrw and make this happen…

    Any ideas???

    Thanks a mill,

    Neil

    Hi.

Just “few seconds” ago there has been a thread of that and if you make a search you will probably have multiple times the same question 😉

    Hey Margus,
Thanks for you help..I sorted it out by using the apple audio input from an aux output of the desk…
I have to use aux as the desk is monitoring the output of the blackmagic with its monitor outs to speakers.
I could not get an analogue audio signal into the blackmagic card after trying everything..
    Thanks,
    Neil
