  Hd Link and HD Extreme get weird

  Hi all wise mentors
  . Ive just got the Decklink hd extreme and the hd link from blackmagic design and the apple cinema display 23 In. It says just conect and they will work but… they dont. so i think i conected them wrong, tried many things but is not working so here are the simtoms of my poor system.

  Conected one of the SDI out switches of the HD extreme to the 422 input of the HD link. then the hd Link to the apple monitor. the result is very psycodellyc. I puted a black and withe image to the desktop and get it in green and browns. Then i tried to get a gradient from black to withe image from de FCP and it gents me many diferent lines of color but no gray. When i Play any video it looks like i applied a filter to make it look like a jimmy hendrix old video. But when i put bars the colors are solid and well. it vibes a little depending on the signal I try HD Full and they look well. when i tried ntsc 720 480 they vibe a lot.

  Im guessing the problem comes from the hd extreme more than from the hd link but its just a guess.
  Maybe the conection.

  So come here for the wisdom of the cow
  Any hint or putting me in a direction to figure out whats wrong?

  An RGB out put can cause strange colors. Make sure you are out puting 422 not 444..
