    Need some help.
Working with a BM dual link pro HD card, and p2 720p 24PN footage.
23.98 timebase in a DVCPRO HD 720p60 sequence…which blackmagic codec should i be using in audio/video settings?

    any help much appreciated.

Look in easy setups for the Blackmagic DVCPRO HD settings. There is a Blackmagic 720p 23.93 DVCPRO HD setting.

I personally have never brought in P2 footage. I have only captured from a deck. It is my understanding that the footage will need to be wrapped in the blackmagic DVCPro HD codec to work with BM settings without needing to be rendered.

    Hi,

There’s no such thing as a Blackmagic DVCPRO HD codec. That setups uses the Blackmagic hardware to output DVCPRO HD clips.

    Hi Oliver,

That’s not a codec choice, it’s just the playback frequency and it is the correct choice.
