    Hello.
The decklink card should be put in an x1-x4 PCIe slot.
Have you tried to change the bios settings for that slot?

    Hi
    Thank you for your response.

P5W64 have 4 pci-e slots. nr1 blue and nr 2 are reserved by graphics card (I have quadro fx 4500)
When I put Multibridge PRO card in slot 3, mainboard not started( on power on Balck Screen and Silence)
When i put Multibridge PRO card in slot 4 everything is ok system loading but Multibridge PRO card hasn’t been found.(I’am trying to find new hardware but still nothing happens)
When I try to connect Multibridge PRO via USB, system found 1 new hardware and install it but there is still nothing heppens. I can’t run Multibridge PRO
    In mainboard manual I see the slots runs at (1)x8 (2)x8 (3)x4 (4)x8 mode or at (1)x16 (2)x0 (3)x4 (4)x0 mode.

In bios setting i found only 5 things about pci-e:
    PEG buffer Lenght(use AUTO) otions:(auto,long,short)
    Link Latlency (use Auto) options:(auto,slow,normal)
PEG Root Control (use Auto) options:(auto, disable, enable)
PEG Link Mode (use Auto) options:(auto, slow, normal, fast, faster)
    Slot Power (use Auto) options:(auto,light,normal,fast,faster)
    that’s all.

Please help if you have any suggestions.
    MIKE

    Hello.
This card is a card game, it does not seem the most appropriate for Multibrige.
The only slot for multibrige that you can use is the number 3, in single card mode (slot 1: vga (x16 mode), slot 3: multibrige (x4 mode)).
If this no works, then other bios settings are: “boot graphic adapter priority” and “High priority port select”. Try with this settings.
    Luck

    Hello Michal

I am very interest in ASUS P5W64 WS Professional and have a questions about it

1- did you test all PCI-e slot with Multibridge PRO especially slot 1 x4 after bios update
2- there is many reports about problem between X38 and PCI-e raid card, did the bios update solve this problem, and what is the raid configuration that you use with Video

    thanks

    Hi Yasser

Then I upgrade my bios from version number 0701 to 0903 and connect new Multibridge PRO v2 to slot nr 3(because in that configurations it has PCI-e x4(go to asus website an read motherboard manual)) and everything working.

I think the problem was in old Multibridge Pro slot connecting card because in that version of MB the card looking different, but remember it’s only my opinion.

I don’t know nothing about chipset X38 this motherboard has Northbridge Intel 975X Southbridge Intel ICH7R and PCI-E IDT89HA0324 and 8 x serial ATA I/II(4 on ICH7R and 3+1 on Marvell 88SE6145) and RAID bulid on MARVELL working.:)

    Hi Michal

thank you for replay, There has been a misunderstanding, I read your post and don’t know how I read P5W64 as P5E64 which I mean in my replay

    thanks
