  need an upgraded card?

  Just wondering, i have an old g5 (about 3yrs) and i have the decklink HD pro card. I’m getting a new tower and i was wondering if i can just transfer the old card or is there a new version that i would have to get. Thanks alot

  You probably do. The G5’s (except for the Quad model) had PCI or PCI-X slots. The Mac Pros & the Quad G5s have PCIe slots. If oyu’re up grading to a new machine you’ll need a PCIe card.
