  What raid to use?

  We are a small 3D house looking for a possible solution for buying a new raid. We are using the black magic card and playing back HD 4:2:2 avi’s on premiere. The raid we have keeps dieing. I want to suggest a new affordable raid which would be just used for dailies. We don’t need tons of storage.

  Can someone please suggest a reliable unit?

  Cal Digit S2VR, just like Blackmagic used at NAB2007.
  The G-Tech G-Speed is nice, but it’s a lot more money. Stick with a nice SATA array like the Cal Digit – you will be very happy.
