  skipping on playback green lines

  Hi,

  We just moved around our Black magic extreme card from a G4 to a G5. The video is skipping when played back out through the black magic extreme cable.

  It is fine when playing back on the computer monitor.

  We have unhooked everything and plugged it all back in. Still skipping.

  I installed the extreme card (PCIX) in the 100mhz slot figuring that it did not need the 133 slot for SD playback.

  Any thoughts?

  Well solved part of the problem by trashing render files and re-rendering.

  Now it seems like there is a stability issue. When the card is just sitting there, and we are not on FCP but sending the computer signal to the broadcast monitor-it flickers with green lines.

  Hmmm?
