  PCI PCI X G5 and Decklink

  I’m planning to purchase a decklink card so that I can hook up my latest aquisition – an Ikegami broadcast monitor with the digital option.All good except that I have a G5 1.8DP Mac. I just can’t seem to find out if it has PCI or PCI x slots. It is an older model, with 8 RAM slots. Any hints?

  SAME AS MY ONE….It’s PCI-X slots.

  Hurrah!! Thanks Roddy. Hopefully this means that I’m cool to install a decklink 2 card to hook up my monitor. I’ve been playing with the Joe’s Filters demo, having the BM will make all the difference.
