    Hi,

Your message suggests there is some problem running the DeckLink Extreme card (PCI) with Final Cut Pro 5.1.2 but I am not aware of any such issue. Are you encountering a problem and, if so, please provide details.

I am running a Multibridge Extreme on a G5 Quad and the FCP 5.1.2-Update (on BMD 5.6.3-Drivers) gives me a “no communication” to my VTR (HDW-M2000P). Returning to 5.1.1 solved this issue. However even in the 5.1.1-5.6.3-setup the remote is not reliable, sometimes I have to reboot a couple of times to get a “VTR OK” .

Still waiting for 5.7.1 to support my other machines (intelQuads).

    Hi Jo,

When you’re getting this problem with Final Cut Pro and deck control, is this also happening with Blackmagic Deck Control?

Can you also contact me offline at support[at]blackmagic-design.com?

v5.7 is already compatible with the Intel Quad Macs.

    regards
