  Sync problem with Decklink Extreme under Windows

  Hi

  I have the following problem and hopefully someone has a hint for me 🙂

  A new machine mit Windows XP Pro SP2
  Decklink Extreme
  Grass Valley PAL component mixer
  Blackburst Generator
  DirectX 9.0c
  newest Quicktime (I use the free version at this time for testing)

  I want to present a powerpoint-presentation to the component-mixer.
  If i connect the decklink to a monitor (no sync needed) everything is fine but if I connect the Decklink to the videomixer the picture is not stable.
  Normally if i connect the genlock the picture will be stable in a few seconds. But it seams that the card still doesn

  Yippppiieeee

  Andrew from BMD gave me the hint that fixed my problem.

  First I found out, that the signal is NOT PAL – it was NTSC.

  Andrew pointed me to the correct setting and know it works great ;-))
