  480 out why not in as well

  Can the decklink card INPUT 720×480 (not 486) lower field first using Photo JPEG (not DV) as the codec?

  I really hope it can. It would be great for BM to offer this. Here is why:

  1. Ingest from Beta SP component at 720×480 to Photo JPEG codec (not DV codec)
  2.Composite video with other elements in FCP. Quality holds up well because of Photo JPEG rather than DV codec.
  3. Burn final video to DVD, natively 720×480.
  4. The final DVD looks great because all fields are correct and no need to crop.

  The BM Decklink SP AND HD Extreme card can OUTPUT a 720×480, Photo JPEG clip. Please tell me how to INPUT the same.
