    Hi all,

I’ve just notice something which I have not seen posted on these forums as yet and while it may be considered a small issue, I believe it is a problem…

What happens is when a PC reads a QT with the blackmagic 10bit RBG 444 codec the very top line of pixels is black.

The good thing (so far from what I have seen) is files rendered out of the PC with the same codec (while missing the top line on the PC, looks fine on a MAC).

The problem is that, if you use a program to read a QT with the same codec and then output, it is output with that top line blacked – on BOTH PC and MAC…

hope I make sense, Kristian let me know if you need to send you a JPG…

    Hi Justin,

Yes, the JPEGs will help. How many pixels are we talking about here?

It’s the very top line – so 1 pixel.

something to note – is that the PC DOES NOT have a BM card in it – but then again, neither does the other MAC where the codec was fine…

I’ll send u jpg when I get to work Kristian…

I have been experiencing the same problems with more than one system, with different hardware/software configurations. Did anyone find a resolution for this?

    Thanks
