Setting up and testing the new Multibridge today. So far so good, but the unit gets a little hotter than I’d expected. Is this normal? I don’t hear much fan noise. Any guidlines on rack placement for best heat dissipation? Current software and firmware are installed.

    Hi

The construction of MB Extreme is such that the combination of fan for ventilation and case surface area to dissipate the heat is sufficient to keep it running correctly.

If you boot the MB Extreme into convertor mode you can access the temperature gauge and monitor it this way.

    Installation.
MB Extremes are robust. Ensure that the ends of the Multibridge Extreme are not covered so that air can pass freely.
