February 6, 2006 at 10:20 amActually it is a fature for DVI-D, dont know about SDI (because HD sdi would just crop the frame and 2K is not sdi standard)
Why – because I want monitor online editing-Kaspar

February 6, 2006 at 1:19 pmExactly, it is a feature of the DVI standard. For this output I do not need a Multibridge Extreme. A current Graphiccard (Nvidia or Ati) carries exactly the necessities out. With FCP one can work on 2K now already somehow. But with FCExtreme treatment of real times will be possible.
A MBE (we have also one) is intended for treatment of SD and hp. Only the Desktop-Extension functions evenly also with a 30″-Display.
Sorry for my bad English, I can do it not better 😉Nico Sandhof

February 6, 2006 at 2:09 pmI think so. I did not work yet with 2K and the MBE. Only in after effects.
To the monitoring of 2K-Material nevertheless a Cinema Desktop Preview is completely sufficient.
Main thing of the computers plays it correctly.
Importantly also that the monitor is correctly calibrated.
I know now no extra hardware for 2K input and output.
Perhaps but I still another feature of my MBE surveyed. 😉 -
