  G5 Quad + Multribridge Extreme + Atto UL5D Config quesiton

  I purchased the above configuration. Haven’t got all the components yet, but thought I’d ask in advance…

  There are 3 PCI-E slots. Does it matter where the UL5D goes and where the Blackmagic card goes?

  Anthony,

  They are both 4 lane PCIe devices, they will work in any of the 3 PCIe slots, the middle one is 8 lane so you might want to leave it spare.

  If you have the Quadro card you have no choice as it blocks the 4 lane slot next to the graphics card’s 16 lane slot.
