  extreme/dvcpro deck set to DV

  System is
  FCPHD 4.5
  Blackmagic Extreme Decklink card

  We have set up our Decklink Extreme card with a DVCPRO deck. We set the DVCPRO deck to DV playback (using mini-dv tapes) and SDI out to the extreme card.

  We are not seeing any input video on the Blackmagic NTSC 10-bit, 8 bit or any other setting.

  What setup do we use?

  Should work just fine with either the Blackmagic 8-bit or 10-bit easy set-ups. The SDI card on the DVCPro deck converts the DV video to 8-bit 4:2:2, so it should work just like any other SDI source. Are your input settings under “Apple menu”->”System settings” (or something like that, non-english OS here)-> “BMD Decklink” set to SDI?
