CC Particle World Keyframing Not Working?
I’m editing a clip and I’m trying to keyframe the “Max Opacity” property in the “CC Particle World” effect in AE. For some reason, whenever I try to keyframe this, it doesn’t work. If I’m not keyframing it, however, the opacity property works as it should. I’ve tried all the properties in the effect, and I’ve got the same result. They simply don’t work when I try to keyframe them.

Many values for individual particles are set at their birth. When the value of a property like max opacity changes, it will not affect particles which have already been born — it will only affect particles born after the change.

Thank you very much! Although, this still didn’t solve the problem I’m having. Is there a way to ‘force’ a new set of particles to set at a certain point?

I’m not sure I understand your question.
