  Bad preview quality to broadcast monitor on decklink hd / vegas 6?

  Heya Folks,

  I’me trying out a decklink hd card with vegas 6 and I’m having a few problems with the preview to a broadcast monitor looking pretty bad in a broadcast monitor. I’ve got my vegas project set to pal dv, progressive scan and the preview quality set to the exact same – the imported media is also set to progressive scan. Has anyone any idea why it might be looking like a single field?

  I’m probably missing something really obvious since I don’t know a lot of the subleties of the decklink yet but the documentation from sony or blackmagic doesn’t really cover the two being used together very well.

  I think the quality is determined by the setting in the preview window.
