  Anamorhpis 16-9 on a uvw-1800 Beta SP

  Question: Can Beta SP uvw-1800 handle an anamorphic 16:9 video signal? My Guess is it can’t unless it was optically squeezed by a lens instead of digitally by a camera. Any help is appreciated.

  I found yes I can make the dub.

  The tape and tape machine do not know what is recorded on the tape. It is just a magnetic signal to them.
