  Up Conversion on the Original Decklink HD.

  Hello,

  Another question, I was trying to up convet from digibeta, so I plugged my SDI out on the SDI in and I did not get any signal thru decklink, but I was monitoring just fine. On this card, what is now called the HD, this was the first HD card that Blackmagic shipped, how can I up convert on the fly ?. The downcoverter works like a charm, but I could not get the up convertion to work. Dual 2X2gig, 2gig ram, 10.3.6, and 4.8 drivers.

  @ the moment there is no upconevrsion function on blackmagic cards

  Look at the AJA Kona2 card… it will do upconversion.

  is that a RT feature ? can i attach sdi and have a upconverted HD-SDI out in RT?

  Yes, it is a RT feature.
