  Multiple AE Issues coming in from Premiere

  I am running on OSX 10.6.7 macpro(3,1).

  I recently upgraded to CS5.5 production.

  I am working in Premiere and trying to use dynamic link to export into AE.

  But when AE opens, I am having multiple issues.

  1. When AE first opens I get a message that says
  After Effects warning: Unknown Exception

  I click ok and the program opens. It asks me what I want to save as. I click save and I get the message

  2. After Effects Warning: Could not creat the file ‘volumes/Lacie/refuge.aep’

  I click ok.

  3. Your disk cach folder is on a drive that does not have enough available space to safely store the full amount specified in your preferences. Please make more space or go to Media $ Disk Cache prefereces to change the folder or maximum disk cache size.

  I click ok.
  I checked, the Disk Cache is on a drive with over 15GB
  and the Conformed Media Cache is on a drive with 27gb.

  Nothing comes in from Premiere. In premiere there is a message that says

  The importer reported a generic error.

  Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on here? I tried trashing AE prefs, but didn’t change anything.

  [Dave LaRonde] “Yipes! That’s a whole boatload of cache storage! What makes you think you need so much?”

  CS5.5 ups the default disk cache from 2 GB (where it has been for years) way up to 20 GB.

  The numbers mentioned is how much space is on the drives total.
  Why would I be getting these errors?
