    Hi there.

I was wondering if there was anyone in Brighton who has a PC that I could farm out work to or could anyone else help me out woth this problem? I am having problems when I render out projects that are PAL Widescreen. They play fine in AE, but are staggered when played back in QT or AVI on my desktop). It means that I cannot play any finished work, only as a render preview in AE.
I thought maybe could put the work onto a disc and someone who has the PC capability could rener it out as a movie. Or if anyone knows what I should be doing, please. Let me know as I’m bashing my head against a wall here. I have a Pentium4 with a a 60G HD. Im no techie, but am I going going wrong somewhere?

    Cheers for your time.

Depending on the codec of your rendered files, you may not be able to play them back smoothly on any computer without a fast RAID array. Certainly, you cannot playback uncompressed files, and it’s unlikely you’ll be able to play back Animation codec files. They are just too big, and therefore have too much data for the disc to read and keep up a 25 fps playback rate.

If you want to see your finished work on the computer at high quality, try rendering to Photo-JPEG at one tick below highest quality on the slider.

What is your final goal for the piece? Broadcast?
