  semi sphere

  Hi,

  I have created the usual planet earth using cc sphere. The effect I am after is the earth stops rotating and starts turning in the opposite way showing the inside of the solid earth (similar to cutting a solid sphere in half).
  I have managed to use cc split 2 and cut the earth in half but cannot get the half solid sphere effect.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro can be used in AE to import 3D models and animate them. It can allow for some texturing and lighting as well. You would have to create the half earth and texture that in some other 3D app or maybe even using PSD.

  Thanks for your help and advice. In view of costs i might have to look at any freeware available. If you can think of any that might do the job please let me know.
