  Pause video but play animation

  Hi,

  I have an imported video in the composition. At some point i want to pause the video but keep the animation going. How can i do that?

  Use time remapping. Once you enable that on the video layer, set a keyframe at the exact frame where you want the video to stop and one more keyframe at the next frame. Then just select the second keyframe you set AND the last keyframe that is automatically set at the end of your clip when you enable Time Remap, and move the second keyframe you set at the point you want the video to start again. If the video layer is shorter than the length of the comp you will need to drag the end of the layer to match the last keyframe for Time Remap to see all the frames.
