I have a huge number of separate video files which all need a simple bit of text to be overlayed in one corner.

I could easily use AE or premiere for this but I believe it would have to be done one video at a time and there are 1500 videos plus to process.

Is there some simple App that is capable of batch processing such a task?

    Cheers

many compression utilities can add a watermark to files, and you can usually set those up to do a batch job.

compressor, for example can add text and/or a watermark to footage. mpeg-streamclip can add a watermark too (settings are found by clicking the ‘adjustments’ button from the export settings).
