Error message when i import soundfile
Hi, I’m new to AE.
when i tried to import file like Mp3, or wav, it shows me an error message like this

I’m not sure why you’re receiving that error but mp3 files should be avoided in After Effects. Convert the file to an aif or wav.
MP3 is a compressed format and will only compress further in AE resulting in audio artifacts.

Thanks for answering, but as i mentioned the problem happen in any Audio format, I try a lot of .wav files, but the problem still the same.
I think there is a technical problem, because the first time i ran AE, a message appear telling me about a problem in Audio recording, but i thought i don’t need any recording service at the moment, so that why i check on “Don’t show me this message again”.
now i have problem with any audio file, also some kind of movies, plus when i try to see my ram render of my video file, there is no sound go out!
I’m sure there is solution for this problem, but i still don’t find who solve it for me. -
Check your preferences for audio hardware. Make sure everything is correct.

Thank you very much for trying to help, I think it was my fault, i tryed another .wav files, and they are working properly, but in the same times some others doesn’t… I don’t know why.btw, from my first post i said i use After Effect CS3.
