  AE does not list Avid Codecs after install?

  Hi,

  Anyone come across that after installing Avid Codec LE 2.1, After Effects does not reveal the codec in the drop down list?

  If you’re running After Effects CS5, perhaps this is related to the 32-bit / 64-bit transition? See these threads for more:

  If that’s the case, you’ll need to render to a lossless intermediate file, and then use a separate application to transcode to the Avid codec of your choice.
