  Would any LaCie Blu Ray Burner work on Roxio or Toast?

  I’m trying to figure out whether or not it would be possible to use a LaCie blu ray burner on either Roxio or Toast. I know that it can work for Encore, but Is it possible to use either of these two software’s with the burner?

  Could you opt out of using the burner’s software if it does work with either Roxio or Toast? Or is that still required?

  I used a LaCie Blu-ray burner with toast, compressor and DVD Studio pro etc. on my Mac Pro for over a year. I’ve since given the lacie away and bought two more LG external Blu-ray burners.

  No problems with any of them.
