    Hi all
    G4 iMac OS 10.4.11
Have downloaded Apples latest 10.5.8 update – but wondering if this will
“cover the leap” btw the 2 versions?? Is there an intermediate step or version I need first?

Don’t want to just drop this in and crash our biz mac!

    Thanks

If you are on 10.4 you cannot just download the 10.5.8 update to get 10.5.8

You must purchase 10.5 install it and then run the 10.5.8 combo update. But keep in mind that 10.5 is no longer sold as 10.6 is the current OS and 10.6 will not run on your machine.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

Yes, Leopard is rather difficult to find now that Snow Leopard is out, but if you’re on a PowerPC family Mac still, that’s what you’re stuck with.

Remaining new copies of Leopard seem to be a hot commodity, so you need to work fast or else it may be more cost effective to just buy a new Intel iMac.
