I’ve been running into some bugginess recently with .m2v video files I have compressed with Compressor for output to DVD.

After I’ve burned off the DVD in DVD Studio Pro, I delete the m2v files. I don’t save any of the projects in Compressor or Studio Pro. Recently – when these specific files go to the trash and I go to empty the trash, I get the error message ‘Not all can be deleted because the following files are still in use’ and it lists the m2v file.

This has only happened with .m2v so far. Re-starting doesn’t solve the problem at least in the short term, because eventually a couple days later the files do in fact delete when I empty – it seems arbitrary.

Does anyone know if there is something going on here – or if its worrisome enough to get my machine looked at?

    If there’s a will there’s a way
