  Network 2 macs with firewire 800

  I have a MacBook Pro – about 2 years old running OS10.4.11 and a brand new MacPro running Dual Quad Core OS 10.5.6.

  I went through a tutorial I found online to network them, but it did not work… I think because it was assuming both macs ran 10.5 which they are not.

  Anyone have a solution for this?
