  Converting wmv on os x leopard

  I have flip4mac studio pro and have been running tests on converting a 30min .m2t 1440×1080 file to 1280×720 wmv9 advance filr.

  Even using compressor it takes 0ver 8 hours.

  My specs are 2×2.8ghz xeon cpu with 4gbs of ram.

  I know the power is there.

  Two questions, can flip4mac be sped up significantly or is there a better program or plugin for compressor that would do this task much quicker.

  As an example when i dual boot the mac into xp and use a program called cleaner xl, it only takes 1 1/2 hours to convert the file, a huge difference in speed.

  Hope this is the right place to post.

  Have you tried enabling multiple instances in qmaster for compressor?
