  Disk Insertion Error

  Hi folks!

  Just upgraded to two new Mac Pros and I’m a happy guy. I’ve encountered a bit of an issue however with my LaCie external drives. When they’re connected, I receive a “Disk Insertion Error”. Long story short, the disk the OS is having trouble with is a small (assumed virtual) drive that my eSATA host card is creating in order to use the drives.

  It is possible to use the drives without any issue if I either Ignore or Eject when prompted. If anyone has a solution to my issue that’d be great. If someone knows how to suppress those warnings, I’d be equally as happy 🙂
