  Blinking ? Folder on Startup

  When i start my computer up, I get a grey screen that then shows a blinking folder with a question mark in it.

  any ideas?

  do i have to re-install OS-X? If so would i still be able to backup?

  The folder and question mark mean that your computer cannot find the system hard drive. The hard drive may have failed. Sign up at he Apple Store and have them check the drive out.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
