  iDVD to avi or quicktime

  I normally use Premiere Pro for editing. My friend introduced me to iDVD on his Mac and I made a small project. I would like to save it as an avi or quicktime so I can import it in Premiere or After Effects. Any idea how I can accomplish this?

  DVD programs are used to make DVD’s out of video files not make video files from DVD’s.

  What program did you make the video in that you used in iDVD, export your video file from there.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.

  Thanks for responding. I used still pictures and used one of the themes in iDVD. I would like to use this in the beginning of my project that I have been editing in Premiere Pro. I know that iDVD is to create DVD menu but I was hoping someone knew how to export it as an avi/quicktime so I can take it in Premiere.

  It may be impossible but I thought I would try and so far I am not finding the solution.

  There is not a way to export a video file out of iDVD. You will have to do a capture from the DVD itself. There is plenty of info on how to do that in the forums.
