Hi there, I just started using a Final cut pro 6 system, after a long time using version 5.

To my dismay the “OPTION-click” feature (where you hold the option key while dragging an in point) does NOT work as it did on my old computer.

Everyone says it should work and it’s not final cut that’s causing the problem. Could it be my keyboard or language settings that would cause the OPTION function to be disabled?

Check in your system prefs under keyboard and mouse and look to see if your modifier keys have been changed.

Believe it or not, one of my option keys is broken. The other side of the keyboard works fine!
