  Apple DVD Player 5.0.1 No Video What’s up ???

  We just installed the new Mac OS X 10.5.2. I think that’s Leopard. Anyway, after the install for some reason my Apple DVD Player refuses to play my previously working DVDS. All I get is a black screen with audio and the button overlays in the menus. Has anyone had this problem before? I’ve scoured the internet for answers but I could not find anything about it.

  It’s not DVD disks because I’m able to open the vob files in QT. And I’ve also tried the disk in another Mac OSX 10.5.2 machine.

  The computer I’m using is a

  2x 2.66 dhz dual core intel
  and the dvd drive is a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D:
  and the dvd player is 5.0.1
