  Opening RAID Admin 1.5.1

  I just installed RAID Admin 1.5.1 onto our G5 2.5 Dual Tiger 10.4.11 system.

  When I double-click to open RAID Admin, the GUI doesn’t show, until I click the JAVA file “RAID Admin.jar”.

  In fact, I don’t need to click on the RAIDAdmin.app icon at all.

  This isn’t normal, right? I didn’t have this problem with the previously installed v.1.3.2.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall 1.5.1 several times now.

  Any ideas as to what is going on here and how to fix it?

  Supplemental Question:

  Has anyone noted an FCP performance increase using RAID Admin 1.5.1’s “Steady Streaming” option?
