  Reduced booting speed after getting rid of Windows partition.

  Hi members,

  I’m using MacBook Pro 17″ 2.33GHz Core2Duo. The booting speed has been
  noticeably slower than before ever since I had got rid of the Windows partition.

  The gray screen that shows up as you switch on the computer (before
  the Apple Logo shows up) stays on longer than half a minute, and this is driving me
  insane. It used be only about 5 seconds or so before.

  Anyone knows what the deal is? Your advice will be very appreciated!
