    Hi,
I wonder if anyone had an experience like me (I hope not).
Just got a new MBP, hooked the “old” one to it using the T on boot-up and transferred some data to the new laptop. So far so good.
After restarting the old one, I found that the Spotlight is not working anymore. Whatever you type in, after a minute or heavy disc spinning nothing is found, with a message …no result…
I rebuilt the spotlight whatever it’s called, database, and still nothing.
At the same time time it takes ages to restart the computer, the menu on top shows up bit by bit, the disc is spinning like crazy.
My conclusion is that my MAC must have an AI built in, and once it knows there is a new MAC at home, the old one is programmed to die. Is this true, or maybe there is another explanation, any ideas?
    TIA
