  VFX support

  I need to composite a human face onto a 3D creature, and add other 3D elements to other actors on live action footage (such as a metalic hole to the side of an actors head).

  Is there a resource for this type of VFX compositing? Is there a book or tutorial that goes specifically over tracking objects and compositing, hiding tracker dots and so on?

  Probably using syntheyes for tracking or after effects, and maya for 3D.

  any help in the right direction would be huge. thanks guys!
