  10.4.7 download error

  Mac Folk:
  Twice now I have tried to update our new iMac G5 10.4.2 to 10.4.7 (Combined)
  each time it has finished (?) the download I get this error:
  “Mac OS X Update Combined (Power PC): A networking error has occured: timed out”

  sounds like my computer’s Safari stopped the download (149Mb) because it was taking too long? I know the damn thing (Safari) seems to be _constantly_ asking if I want to “remain connected” – like: D-UH, why WOULDN’T I?!?

  Are you on a modem, or DSL, or cable, and are you on a wireless, if your on a modem select stay connected in the modem settings and if your using an airport go into your settings select stay connected. Also try updating through updater rather then safari, and if you want to save the download just select that option…
