    If you pick the Widget called “Widgets” you can erase some of them in there. But some you can’t. I can’t explain why.

    SO, the easiest , surefire way to erase them – Spotlight them. Find the file and erase it. Done.

    If you really want to be certain, you can look in two places:

    (Main Drive)/Library/Widgets
    or
    (Main Drive)/Users/(Your Name)/Library/Widgets

    It will be in one of those two folders.

    i must have the widgets that will not die!! im pretty sure you cant delete the apple ones….but even after dragging to the trash from the library and emptying the trash…the little blighters still show up!! bulletproof widgets!!

    it would be good if there was some kind of widget manager….i mean what happens when you have 1000 widgets installed? pretty crazy looking dashboard!

    ======

    Do you not have the widget called “Widgets?” It should be the fist one on your list. it lets you turn certain Widgets “off” so even if they’re on your system, they don’t show up in the tray.
