  • Can Final Cut Pro 4.5 be safely reinstalled in Tiger?

After upgrading to 10.4.4 and Quicktime 7.0.4, I’m no longer am able to open Soundtrack Pro for some reason – the other Final Cut Studio apps work fine. I believe I need to resinstall Production Suite, followed by my upgrade to FCP Studio (unfortunately, I can’t just reinstall Soundtrack Pro)

Here’s my question: Is it safe to reinstall Production Suite in Tiger? It won’t be for long, as I will then be upgrading to FCP Studio after this. I’m concerned about Quicktime compatibility issues, since I believe Quicktime Pro 6 will be reinstalled with Production Suite. Would this be an issue, or should I first “uninstall” all the current Studio apps? If so, does anyone know of any links on how to do this?

    Thanks for any advice.
