  OS 10.4.4 & FCP 5.0.4

  Hi there:

  Just wondering if anyone out there has any negative reports concerning new upgrades for OS 10.4.4 & FCP 5.0.4. Currently using OS 10.4.2 & FCP 5.0.2. on three systems with no problems to report. We were informed by our sysytem and support reseller not to install the upgrades for OS 10.4.3 & FCP 5.0.3.

  So, before we install the new upgrades, thought I would check with the forum.

  I’m running OS 10.4.2 and FCP 5.0.4. No issues. I haven’t upgraded to OS 10.4.4 for the reasons you’ve stated. Just don’t upgrade in the middle of anything.

  I’ve no problems with FCP 5:0.4 and 10.4.5.

  My upgrade did not go as well. All the software on my dual G5 worked correctly. FCP was rock solid as usual. I lost, however, my Internet connection and Ethernet to a workgroup. I still haven’t figured out why the OS update messed up those. I would be grateful for any suggestions about how to get Internet and Ethernet back.

  Otherwise, this is the first time software update caused me problems.
