  exception errors wen try openning file ?????

  Hello!

  Can anyone help with this problem: project created with AE CS5 on windows7 OS can’t be opened on Mac OS, exception errors appear when trying to open, click ok and then it doesn’t respond.
  Deleting the prefs does not help in any way

  What is the exact error message that you’re getting?

  Unknown Exception message pops up. Also this same file opens fine on other Computer with Mac OS. Updating AE Or turning on CAPS LOCK before opening file did not help.

  You mentioned that you tried deleting the preferences. Try deleting the entire preferences folder, not just a single file.

  Does this project use any plug-ins or codecs that aren’t installed or updated on the machine on which the problem occurs?

  Deleting folder didn’t help to, there is no additional plugins and codes used…
