    Hi!
    I`m sure you guys get this question often, but I`m sort of new to AE. Have only edited before, not moving graphics. Anyway …
    I saw “Sky Captain” the other day, and really liked the 3D titles in the beginning. Both the feature and the 6 mn short. I`m sure u can do this with AE and photoshop.
    Is there any tutorials on this on the net?! Want to get the info free, before i buy one of the books at Amazon. (My wallet is kind of empy at the moment:(

    Hey!

    Well, there is a tutorial on the COW here for 3D extrusion using the Shatter plug-in…or look at Zaxwerks Invigorator for a good 3D effect plug-in. Other than that, you can always do the titles in a 3D app. such as lightwave or maya and render it out to composite in After Effects.
