November 19, 2010 at 6:07 pmHey Dave thanks for the reply
what i was saying is that it started as HDV 50i in FCP but was sent to Color and rendered back at ProRes 108050i 25fps so going into AE it is not HDV anymore.
Yes I am on CS5 as well
thanks

November 19, 2010 at 6:22 pmif you want to make sure all the cores are running at a high level, open the activity monitor (applications>utilities) as you render/preview. if the cpu usage graph is near the top, then your settings are good. if not, then tweak the settings, just don’t lower the ram to leave for other apps bellow 2gb or so.

December 21, 2011 at 4:11 pmHELLO GUYS,
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS – RENDERING OBVIOUSLY 😉
SO RIGHT NOW I AM ADDING GRAIN TO A PRORES444 15 MINUTE RENDER OUT OF DAVINCI RESOLVE ON SOME GRADED R3D FOOTAGE THAT THE DIRECTOR WANTS A BIT GRITTIER.
MY QUESTION IS AGAIN ABOUT RENDER SETTINGS:
THAT IS, I HAVE IT SET TO MULTI PROCESSING AND LEAVING 10 GB FOR OTHER APPS IS THIS CORRECT ON MY 32GB 12-CORE? IT SAYS 4 HRS TO RENDER 🙁
